The first industrial revolution (1.0) started with steam machines and systems that convert water energy into mechanical or electrical energy. In the second industrial revolution (2.0), electrical production was made. In the third industrial revolution (3.0), a digital revolution was made by the using of information systems and electronic cards.Industry 4.0 is known as the fourth Industrial Revolution and is a term that encompasses automation systems, communication systems and production technologies. The industry will be used in all industrial areas until the end of the 21st century, starting with the Internet of Objects, Cellular Transport Systems and MIT, and continuing with Autonomous Interaction and Virtualization in the future. In the next 25-30 years, It is expected that being smart all systems and devices such as, cities, houses, logistics with the combining of e-commerce networks by using internet environment to affect approximately 46% of global commerce network area. Threats to any of these ecosystems pose a potential hazard for all global or local systems.
While the Industry 4.0 is increasingly important, Developments in the innovative fields such as Smart Cities, Virtual reality, Ultra Wide Band technologies(UWB), Artificial Intelligence are integrating all these systems together and create some opportunities for potential cyber attacks on these systems. Integrated and co-operating systems have become compulsory as a whole to be protected against these threats.
